This document constitutes a public offer to enter into an agreement for the provision of online educational services between Sonata Music Academy (“Academy”) and any individual who accepts these terms (“Student”).
Acceptance of this offer occurs at the moment of payment for a lesson package, trial lesson, or booking. From that moment, the agreement is considered concluded.
1. GENERAL TERMS
1.1. By purchasing any service, the Student confirms that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms & Conditions.
1.2. Lesson packages are valid only within the specified period and are non-refundable once at least one lesson has been used.
1.3. Payment for services constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.
1.4. All communication related to lessons (schedule, changes, notices) is conducted via messaging platforms (WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, email, etc.).
1.5. A lesson is considered conducted based on the scheduled time and/or confirmation by the teacher or academy representative.
2. LESSON TERMS
2.1. Each lesson has a duration of 45 minutes, unless otherwise specified.
2.2. Lessons are scheduled only after full payment has been received.
2.3. A trial lesson lasts 45 minutes and may be used once per student.
2.4. Without payment, lesson slots are not reserved and may be reassigned.
2.5. Student lateness does not extend the lesson duration.
3. SCHEDULING, RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATION
3.1. The Academy reserves the right to make schedule adjustments with prior notice.
3.2. A fixed weekly lesson time remains reserved for the duration of the active package.
3.3. Changes to a permanent schedule are possible only upon mutual agreement and subject to availability.
3.4. Lesson rescheduling must be requested no later than 9:00 PM (local time) on the day before the lesson.
3.5. Lessons cancelled on the same day are considered completed and are not refundable.
4. PAUSE / FREEZE POLICY
4.1. A lesson package may be frozen once per month for up to 14 days.
4.2. Longer pauses require valid documentation (e.g. medical reasons).
5. FORCE MAJEURE
5.1. In case of force majeure circumstances (power outage, internet issues, emergency situations), the lesson will be rescheduled to the nearest available time.
5.2. Neither party shall be held liable for delays or interruptions caused by such circumstances.
6. BEHAVIOR & CONDUCT
6.1. Respectful communication and behavior are mandatory.
6.2. In case of aggressive, offensive, or inappropriate behavior, the Academy reserves the right to terminate cooperation without refund.
7. PACKAGES & PAYMENT
7.1. Lesson packages of 4 / 8 / 12 lessons are valid for 50 calendar days from the date of the first lesson.
7.2. For minors, a responsible adult must be specified.
8. WORKING HOURS & TEACHERS
8.1. The Academy operates daily; any changes are communicated in advance.
8.2. If a teacher becomes unavailable, the Academy will offer a replacement or reschedule the lesson with the Student’s consent.
8.3. Lesson schedules are arranged individually and may be adjusted by mutual agreement.
9. RESPONSIBILITY
9.1. The Student is responsible for providing accurate contact information, timely payment, and compliance with these terms.
9.2. The Academy is responsible for delivering lessons professionally, providing qualified teachers, and communicating schedule changes in a timely manner.
10. FINAL PROVISIONS
10.1. Payment for any lesson or package confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
10.2. The Academy reserves the right to modify these terms. Updated terms take effect upon publication on the website.
10.3. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation; if unresolved, they shall be handled in accordance with applicable international consumer regulations.
